1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Offshore Races website (www.offshoreraces.app), published by Antoine LABBE (see the legal notice). By using the site, you accept these terms.
2. The service
The site shows on a globe the courses, start dates, records and winners of offshore sailing races, along with articles and guide pages. It is free and needs no account or sign-up. You can add it to your device's home screen from your browser; there is no app in the app stores.
Booking an advertising space is governed by the advertising terms and conditions.
3. Indicative information
Dates, courses, records and other information are published for information only, based on the sources cited on each race page. They may be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Courses follow the marks set by the organiser, but the boats' actual route depends on the weather. Only the organisers' information is authoritative.
The site is not a navigation tool. Do not use it to plan a passage or to make any decision affecting safety at sea.
4. Availability and liability
The site is provided "as is", with no guarantee of availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. The publisher may change, interrupt or suspend it at any time, without notice. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any damage arising from the use of the site or from being unable to use it.
The site contains links to third-party sites (organisers, social networks, advertisers). The publisher is not responsible for their content.
5. Intellectual property
The texts and design of the site belong to the publisher unless stated otherwise. Photos, the base map and other third-party elements remain under their own licence, shown in the legal notice or under each image. You may link to the site and use the embed codes from the Share page. Any other substantial reproduction requires the publisher's permission.
6. Fair use
You agree not to disrupt the site, for example with an excessive number of automated requests or an attempt to access its restricted areas.
7. Personal data
The processing of your data is described in the privacy policy.
8. Changes
These terms may be changed at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its last updated date.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls under the competent French courts.
